Remap Hertfordshire South is a local branch of a national charity. Our group of dedicated volunteers helps people with disabilities to overcome everyday challenges and improve their quality of life. We endeavor to design and make aids and equipment for people of all ages and disabilities to use in their homes, schools and their workplace using the skills of experienced mechanical, carpentry, electrical and computing engineers.
These devices are custom made to meet the specific needs of individuals and are provided free of charge.
We have a monthly meeting to discuss our work and support each other with various projects. A lot of satisfaction is gained solving some interesting problems whilst improving people’s quality of life. Do contact us if you think you need our help or might be able to contribute to our work.
For examples of projects we have carried out locally, see our Case Studies.
